I’m probably the biggest weeb in the school. I play too many idol games (Love Live!, BanDori, Idolm@aster, Enstars). I also read too many webtoons (Lookism, I Don’t Want This Kind of Hero, many more). Parentheses are my go-to punctuation mark. I’m not good at introductions, so I’ll end it with my favorite anime quote: “People die if they are killed.”

Your taste is overall pretty shit, and it’s why I haven’t joined the anime club for awhile despite being pretty passionate about it.
Hello! It’s always good to hear opinions like this. If you are talking about the club officers as a whole (in terms of our tastes being “shit”) why is that? Give reason, because everybody is entitled to their own opinions. If I may ask, what is your definition of “good” anime? If you are as passionate as you make yourself sound, why not give ways that we can improve? But no. You are hiding behind a computer screen using the guise of anonymity to say what? That OUR taste is shit? State your favorite anime series and there will be ways to say that they’re pretty shit themselves. If you look at our “preferred” anime from each of us, we have a wide range of different genres with different plots in each one. Also, if you think the anime that we have individually listed are all that we’ve watched, you are gravely mistaken. I (Justin Kou) myself have probably watched more anime that you ever have, so don’t go around bashing other people’s tastes when you haven’t even presented your own for comparison.

Really? I probably know way more about staff than you. Quality over quantity, it’s pretty simple. Also, congragulations on spending more of your life on an industry that’s by the season gravitating more towards incest, fujoshit, and moeshit. The whole beast itself is dying.

Movies: EoE and most of the late Kon’s work, lukewarm on Hosuda’s work but I did enjoy it, Akira

The anime you guys watch as a whole is just generally of too low a craft for me to find enjoyable.
None of my favorite anime are here, but that’s not too surprising, since none of your officers are strong enough in analysis to fully appreciate them anyways.
I’m ready to defend my taste if needed to. Let’s see you try and attack it.
It’s also worth noting that there are a few legitimate criticisms of the media listed, but I doubt you will be able to find any of the actual ones.
